Katie Hughes

Inbound Content Writer

Katie is part of the Content team and writes for both Equinet and our clients.

After graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a First in Psychology, she embarked on a career in market research. She worked at a London-based agency where she was responsible for designing and delivering research projects for several high-profile clients including the BBC, British Gas and Lloyds Banking Group. She managed projects in customer journey mapping, communications testing, and website evaluation. She worked extensively with the BBC capturing audience insights to inform the development of their wide range of digital products and services.

Katie is passionate about travel, and after six years working in London, headed to Australia for a year-long adventure. She spent time working at a market research agency in Perth before hitting the road to explore, covering over 30,000km in a 30-year-old campervan.

Returning from her travels and looking to be inspired by something new, she found Equinet.

Katie loves running, yoga, and watersports (when she gets a chance). You will often find her eating out at one of Bedford’s many Italian restaurants, or enjoying a drink by the river with her dog Leo in tow.
